Regional Schools' Trampoline Championships
Harlington Sports Centre, Middlesex. 5th December 2010
Despite missing lots of training due to the snow days, on Sunday 5th December, 17 of our pupils from years 7-11 made their way to Harlington Sports Centre in Middlesex, to represent Hall Mead at the London Schools Trampoline Competition. The event involved schools from all over London, competing in teams and as individuals, trying to qualify to get through to the next round, which is against the rest of the South of Great Britain.
For the second year running, amazingly, EVERY SINGLE PUPIL managed to qualify to the next round, by either coming in the top 3 as an individual, or by their team coming first or second!
Each of the four teams that we entered WON their group to become London Champions. In addition, 10 of the 17 managed to finish in a podium place, so are through to the next round as individuals also!
Congratulations to everyone! The next round is in the Isle of Wight!
